During our visit to Colorado Springs, we stayed at the Embassy Suites, which is one of our favorite hotel chains. We’ve stayed at several Embassy Suites hotels in the past(including one in Washington, D.C.), so my kids knew what to expect. Our room was a typical double-queen suite with a spacious sitting area. We love having room to spread out.
This room also has a desk and small kitchenette with a microwave and small refrigerator.
The bedroom has two queen-size beds with lots of pillows.
The bedroom also has an armoire and lots of floor space.
My kids love breakfast food, so the cooked-to-order breakfast in the open atrium is their favorite part.
The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. My youngest daughter said their pancakes were the best.
Large pans of bacon are also quite popular with my kids.
In the early evening, the breakfast area becomes the cocktail hour area. My husband and I enjoyed a chance to unwind and have a drink before dinner. The bartending staff was just as friendly as the breakfast staff.
Complimentary snacks are also offered at cocktail hour.
An indoor swimming pool and hot tub is available. A soak in the hot tub after a day of hiking felt good.
I prefer to get my vacation exercise in through hiking, but if you’d rather get on a machine, they have an exercise room filled with them.
We found the Embassy Suites to be a convenient and comfortable place to stay during our visit to the Colorado Springs area.

Many thanks to the Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau for coordinating our trip. I paid for our room at the Embassy Suites at a discounted rate. My opinions are my own.
